Phone/Video Consult

Dr Canon is available for phone or email consultations. If you have a concern and are not sure if your animal needs to go in for an appointment, or if your animal has been seen and you would like a second opinion or clarification on results, a consult may help. Dr Canon is happy to review previous medical records and lab results and help guide expectations, treatment objectives and options, and future diagnostic choices. A Zoom meeting can be set up for a better visual exam.

An animal will need to have been seen in order for medications to be dispensed, and a phone consult does not take the place of a physical exam. Dr Canon is only licensed in California, so can only help clients in California.
The cost is based on time, at $3 per minute with a minimum of $60. Consult time includes reviewing other medical records/ blood results and time spent on the phone/ email.
